Cement truck rolls over in Duryea

DURYEA — Emergency crews responded to the scene of a cement truck rollover near Phoenix and Main streets in the borough Wednesday morning.

Police Chief Nicholas Lohman confirmed there were no injuries in the incident.

According to Lohman, the vehicle was traveling on Main Street through the intersection when it tipped.

The crash damaged a guard rail and also knocked over the "Welcome to Duryea" sign, and resulted in traffic being briefly detoured.

The roadway has been reopened to traffic as of 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Duryea Police Department.
